William Byron started in the rear of the field due to unapproved adjustments. His team changed his steering rack.

Bristol Race Notes
Ryan Blaney who won the pole choose to start in the outside lane. He jumped to an early lead and led the first 43 laps.
Ty Gibbs was loose early and his race got off to a rough start. He qualified 5th and was back to 14th on lap 7.

Notable: Tyler Reddick who was running in 6th was caught speeding on pit road during the Keselowski caution.

Big: During the Stage #1 caution, Christopher Bell, Nemechek and McDowell were caught speeding on pit road. Zane Smith got an equipment interference penalty. Bell was in 2nd, Nemechek was in the high 20’s, McDowell was in the low 20’s and Smith was in 15th.
