Joey Logano who won the pole selected to start in the low-line. Logano led the opening 46 laps. Stage #1 went caution free.
Zane Smith had to serve a pass thru penalty after the first lap as part of his unapproved adjustments penalty. He remained on the lead lap after immediately serving his penalty but eventually went a lap down.

Big: On lap 94, SVG had a flat tire spun which brought out the caution. At that time, he just passed Wallace for 12th.
Big: During the SVG caution, Blaney pitted twice due to a loose wheel. He was in 2nd prior to the caution. This dropped him back to the high 20’s.
Big: During the SVG caution, Wallace was caught speeding on pit road. He was in 12th prior to the caution. This dropped him back to the high 20’s.

Big: On lap 103, Daniel Suarez who was just outside the top ten spun and got into the wall. Elliott was involved also and got some damage. Berry was involved too and pitted which dropped him from the mid-teens back to the high 20’s.

Big: On lap 131 while running in 4th, Chase Briscoe had a tire go down and got into the wall hard which brought out the caution. This marked the end of his race.
Big: While running in 9th during the Briscoe caution, Blaney had to stop in Logano’s pit box which resulted in a penalty that dropped him to the back.

Big: On lap 158, Noah Gragson had a flat tire and got into the wall which brought out a caution for debris. Gragson was back in the mid 30’s at the time and it marked the end of his race. Zilisch also had a flat tire at this time too but his happened under caution. McDowell did too under caution and he was in 11th prior to his problem.
During the Gragson caution, Ryan Preece and Keselowski stayed out which got them up to 1st and 2nd. During the ensuing restart they dropped back rapidly.
