Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Talladega #1 2026
Joey Logano – Joey Logano likely ranked among the best this spring at Talladega, but he finished an asterisk mark 39th. In the race, Logano finished 3rd in Stage #1, was the leader on lap 114 but then on lap 115 he was swept up in the “Big One.”
Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney looked good this spring at Talladega but finished 37th. In the race, Blaney finished 5th in Stage #1, was in 3rd on lap 114 but then on lap 115 he was caught up in the “Big One.”
Erik Jones – This spring, Erik Jones was a contender to win but late in the race on lap 181 while running in 3rd, he was spun after contact from Hocevar which brought out the final caution of the race.
Christopher Bell – This spring, Christopher Bell ran great but finished an asterisk mark 17th. In the race, Bell led the most laps (31), finished 2nd in Stage #2, hovered around 10th for much of the last Stage, was in 11th with 1 lap to go but then on the last lap he crashed, leading to his 17th. Additionally, Bell earned the 4th best driver rating and had the 4th best average running position (12.0).
Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin finished 15th this spring but you can get out an asterisk mark for that result. In the race, Hamlin led 28 laps but then during the opening green flag pit cycle while leading, he was caught speeding on pit road. That had him off the lead lap for much of the race and he just wasn’t able to bounce back.
