Tony Stewart – The #14 car has been “hoppy” and not smooth around the corners.
Martin Truex Jr. – Not happy with his car. The #56 team is looking for more speed.
Kevin Harvick – Only ran six laps and is done until tomorrow. Feels good about his car.
Denny Hamlin – Hamlin revealed his game plan in practice. His goal is to lead the most laps in the Talladega Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500.
Greg Biffle – Biffle said his car ran well and was stable. The #16 car looks fast this week. During “pack” practice he consistently ran near the front.
