The Low Tier – Bristol Dirt
JJ Yeley – JJ Yeley is a dirt racing legend, but I’m pretty certain it’s impossible to do legendary things in the Rick Ware #15. At Bristol Dirt, Yeley has competed in both races. He finished 30th last year and 28th in the tracks dirt debut. On Sunday, you have to imagine Denny Hamlin might want to stay away from him.
Cody Ware – At Bristol Dirt, look for Cody Ware to finish high 20’s and back. If attrition gets high, a mid 20’s finish might be achievable. Last year, Ware finished 26th and then in 2021 he finished 32nd.
BJ McLeod – BJ McLeod is no rookie, but he’ll be making his Bristol Dirt debut on Sunday night. Ringers were brought in previous years to pilot the #78, so I’m taking that as a “vote of no confidence” in terms of his dirt racing prowess. McLeod has finished 36th in the last two races he’s competed this year.
