On lap 2, the front of the field was 3-wide. Fuel saving began immediately.

Notable: Chase Briscoe was caught speeding during his green flag pit stop around lap 43. Kyle Busch was also caught speeding on pit. Ross Chastain was also caught speeding.

Notable: On lap 49, Carson Hocevar made an unexpected pit stop due to a flat tire.

Notable: During his green flag pit stop, Brad Keselowski overshot his pit box which resulted in a slow pit stop.

Big: On lap 52 at the front of the pack, a “Big One” ensued. Drivers collected were Noah Gragson, AJ Allmendinger, Chase Elliott, Justin Haley, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Erik Jones, Austin Dillon and Austin Cindric. Gragson and AJ Allmendinger were battling side by side for the lead. Erik Jones who was pushing Gragson caused the #4 to spin which caused it. This wreck marked the end of the race for all involved except for Austin Dillon and Austin Cindric, but his race wasn’t much longer.

Notable: On lap 111 as he was coming to pit road, Shane van Gisbergen spun out. Many cars were coming to pit road at this time. It brought out a caution. SVG didn’t hit anything but got stuck in the grass.
