Chase Briscoe who started on the pole choose to start in the top lane and he led the opening 11 laps.

On lap 4, Tyler Reddick who started in the back was already up to 20th.

Notable: On lap 34, Daniel Suarez made an unexpected pit stop due to a tire vibration. He was running around 28th at the time. This dropped him a lap down to last.

On lap 35, Chris Buescher got the lead and then led the next 13 laps.

Notable: Brad Keselowski pitted twice during the Stage #1 caution. He had a slow pit stop, so he opted to pit again and top up on fuel.

On lap 57, Chase Elliott passed Ryan Blaney for the lead and then led the next 19 laps.

Notable: On lap 60 the first caution came out for cause. Noah Gragson and John H Nemechek both spun. They were battling for 17th. Nemechek got into the wall, and it appears that Gragson didn’t hit anything but had flat tires.

About half of the field pitted during the Gragson and Nemechek caution. Those drivers were said to still be a little short of making it to the end of the Stage on gas.

Big: On lap 67, Cole Custer had contact with Daniel Suarez and Alex Bowman and a multi-car accident ensued. Bowman slammed into the wall, Custer got into the wall, Suarez spun and Chase Briscoe was clipped and spun (didn’t hit anything after getting spun). This happened back around the mid to high 20’s. This brought out a red flag.

Notable: During pit stops during the multi-car caution on lap 67, Kyle Larson and AJ Allmendinger were caught speeding on pit road.

Notable: On lap 72 the caution came out when John H Nemechek spun out. He got into the wall prior to spinning out and had a good amount of damage. He was running around 29th at the time.

Chase Elliott, who was the leader pitted during the lap 72 caution which dropped him to the back.

On lap 106 while running in 2nd, Christopher Bell ducked down pit road for a green flag pit stop. This dropped him a lap down.

Big: On lap 109 while running 12th, Ryan Blaney spun. He got into the wall and spun and the #12 had some damage.

Most of the fielded pitted during the Blaney caution which was 10-laps to go until the end of the Stage. Bell got the free pass at this time.
