Chicagoland Fantasy Outlook – Erik Jones and the #43 team have had an uptick in performance at intermediates in 2026 and at Chicagoland, I would view him as a top ten contender. This year at high-speed 1.5’s plus Darlington, Jones is 3 for 5 at finishing between 10th to 13th, has a 15.6 average finish and ranks 17th in terms of Track Type Total Speed Rankings. At Chicagoland, Jones has three previous starts under his belt and over the last two in the #20 he had results of 7th and 6th.

Corey Heim
Chicagoland Fantasy Outlook – At Chicagoland, look for Corey Heim to have a solid showing and by that, I think he might be primed for a teen’s and still might have further upside. In 2026, Heim has competed at three 1.5’s and over them, he’s 2 for 2 at finishing in the teen’s over his incident free races (15th at Kansas, 19th at Charlotte, crashed at Texas) and his average Speed Ranking is 16th. Of them, I think Kansas has the most correlation and that’s encouraging because I view that to be his best race and that afternoon, Heim finished 15th and ranked 11th for Total Speed Rankings. In the Truck series at high-wear intermediates since 2025, Heim has results of 1st (Darlington 2026), 1st (Darlington 2025) and 3rd (Homestead 2025, led 78 laps). In June at Chicagoland, Heim took part in the manufacture wheel force test.

Ryan Preece
Chicagoland Fantasy Outlook – On a weekly basis, Ryan Preece and the #60 team are low double-digit to mid-teens good with an outside shot of sneaking in a top ten, and I would look for more of the same at Chicagoland. This year at high-speed 1.5’s plus Darlington, Preece ranks 9th for Speed and in terms of the results column minus Charlotte where he crashed, he’s 4 for 4 at finishing between 11th to 14th and has a 12.3 average finish. At high-wear intermediates going back to 2024, Preece ranks 12th for Speed. At Chicagoland back in 2019 in his only start in the #47, Preece finished 28th.
