North Wilkesboro Window World 450 Fantasy NASCAR Front Runner Rankings

Carson Hocevar
North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – Carson Hocevar should be solid at North Wilkesboro, but I think he’s a top ten contender at best. I’ll also note, there’s a few angry drivers at him, so he also has a little elevated risk. At shorter-flat tracks since 2025, Hocevar ranks 12th for Speed and in terms of the results column minus both 2025 Phoenix races his average finish is 13.8.
North Wilkesboro Track History – Last Spring at North Wilkesboro, Carson Hocevar won the open, leading 46 laps and had a 1.5 average running position. Then in the main event, he started 21st, had a 15.3 average running position and then finished 11th overall. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, he ranked 17th with his speed over the segments being 18th, 17th, 13th and then 14th. In the 2024 Open, Hocevar finished 10th.
Ryan Preece
North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – Ryan Preece is a strong shorter-flat track performer, so look for good things out of him at North Wilkesboro. At shorter-flat tracks since 2025 minus Richmond, Preece has an 11.5 average finish and he’s had a result in the top 15 every race. That said, he’s also typically been a 9th to 15th place driver, so don’t get too excited about upside. This spring at Phoenix to start the 2026 shorter-flat track racing season, Preece finished 13th.
North Wilkesboro Track History – Ryan Preece is 0 for 2 at making the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro. Last year, Preece looked like a contender to advance but he also got a late choose cone violation which led to his disappointing 11th. For the short race despite his problem, Preece’s average running position was 5.5. In 2024 in the Open, Preece finished 8th.
Erik Jones
North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – Erik Jones and the #43 have had an uptick in performance over the last few months, so let’s hope that trend doesn’t end at North Wilkesboro. To begin the year on this track type, he snuck in a 10th at Phoenix (22nd for Speed), so perhaps he might just sneak in another. Overall at shorter-flat tracks since 2025, Jones has a 19.3 average finish and ranks 25th for Speed, having ranked between 21st and 23rd in 6 of the 7 races. One attribute I like about Jones is how well he’s been running. Since Texas minus the road courses visited, he’s finished in the top 15 every race and has a 9.1 average finish.
North Wilkesboro Track History – At North Wilkesboro, Erik Jones hasn’t made either All-Star Races since the repave. Last year in the Open, the #43 came on strong late but Jones came up short of advancing and finished 4th. Take note, his overall average running position was 11.1. In 2024, Jones finished 18th.
