North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – Racing at shorter-flat tracks has been a key weakness for Daniel Suarez, so it’s best to just view him as a mid-pack driver who’ll have potential upside heading into the weekend. Since 2025 at shorter-flat tracks, Suarez is 6 for 7 at finishing 19th or worse, has a 25.0 average finish and ranks 22nd for Track Type Total Speed Rankings.
North Wilkesboro Track History – Daniel Suarez has been in both North Wilkesboro All-Star Races since the repave and over them, his average finish is 19th (tied for last) and in terms of Speed he ranks 23rd. In last year’s All-Star Race, Suarez had a rough afternoon and finished last. In the race, Suarez started 12th, slid back to 16th on lap 55 but then he had a flat tire and got into the wall hard which marked the end of his race. In terms of Total Speed Ranking over the first segment, Suarez ranked 21st. In 2024, Suarez started 4th, had an 11th place average running position and then finished 15th. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Suarez ranked 15th.

Josh Berry
North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – We might just have a Josh Berry sighting at North Wilkesboro but based off his current form, he’s incredibly risky and will likely burn you. Since 2025 on this track type, Berry ranks 7th for Speed and in terms of the results column minus Gateway 2025 and this spring at Phoenix his average finish is 6.8. Heading into the weekend, I think it’s best to just view him as a mid-pack driver who’ll have upside.
North Wilkesboro Track History – Last year at North Wilkesboro in the All-Star Race, Josh Berry started 11th, had a 12.6 average running position but then finished 17th. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Berry ranked 11th with his speed over the segments being 13th, 10th, 8th and then 18th, so he was at his worst late when it really counted. In 2024, Berry missed the All-Star Race and finished 3rd in the Open.

Michael McDowell
North Wilkesboro Fantasy Outlook – I’m not expecting anything good out of Michael McDowell at North Wilkesboro but yet I also wouldn’t be surprised if he runs well. McDowell finished 9th at Phoenix this spring and over the last two races held at shorter-flat tracks last year, he had a pair of 8th’s. Overall at shorter-flat tracks over the last four races, McDowell has a 9.75 average finish. That said, I can’t say I trust him and heading into the weekend, I think it’s best to just view him as a mid-pack driver who might have surprise upside.
North Wilkesboro Track History – Michael McDowell did not make last year’s All-Star Race, but he ran well in the Open, finishing 5th and having a 5.4 average running position. In 2024 when he made the All-Star Race, McDowell was solid and finished 9th.
