Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – New Hampshire 2025

Shane van Gisbergen – Shane van Gisbergen looked like a legit top ten contender last year at New Hampshire, but he finished an asterisk mark 32nd. In the race, SVG started 10th, finished 7th in Stage #1, was running in 7th on lap 108 but then on lap 118, he was damaged when Keselowski did a really dumb move during a restart which sent him to the garage, dooming him to his poor result.
Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs was likely about 10th place good last year at New Hampshire, but he finished an asterisk mark 35th. In the race, Gibbs started 13th, finished 13th in Stage #1, was in 11th on lap 110 but then that lap, Hamlin wrecked him which led to his 35th. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Gibbs ranked 16th.
Daniel Suarez – Last year, Daniel Suarez had an ugly afternoon and crashed, leading to his 36th. That said, he also didn’t run well. In the race he ranked 26th for Speed and on lap 108 shortly before his demise in the Brad Keselowski restart wreck he was running in 27th.
John H Nemechek – Last year at New Hampshire, John H Nemechek had a tough afternoon and finished 34th. In the race, he never ran well, got lapped under green as early as lap 40 and then later on lap 147 while running in 22nd, he had a solo crash that marked the end of his race. In terms of speed, Nemechek ranked 31st.
