New Hampshire Family Dollar 301 Fantasy NASCAR Confidence Rankings / Post Practice Predictions

On Sunday, NASCAR will be racing at New Hampshire for the Dollar Tree 301. New Hampshire is a flat 1.0-mile oval that I classify as a “Shorter flat track.” Other shorter flat tracks that I would recommend that you look back to for correlation are Phoenix, North Wilkesboro, Iowa and Richmond (2026 Shorter-Flat Track Total Speed Rankings/ Average Finishes). New Hampshire is a relatively quick race, and track position is king. It’s just 301 laps with Stages set for 75/185/301.
On Saturday, NASCAR held a 50-minute practice for the teams. Make sure you check out our New Hampshire Practice Notes, New Hampshire 10,15,20,25 and 30 Lap Average Speed Cheat Sheet and New Hampshire Practice Speeds and 10 Lap Averages. Here’s the New Hampshire Qualifying Results/ Starting Lineup.
New Hampshire Fantasy NASCAR Full Field Fantasy Rankings
1) Ryan Blaney
Start 8th / Projected Finish Range 1-6 / Dominator Potential – Medium-High
New Hampshire Outlook – Defending New Hampshire winner, Ryan Blaney has been elite at the “Magic Mile” and he’s one of the premiere performers at shorter-flat tracks, so there’s no question he’ll be a driver to be reckoned with. At shorter-flat tracks since 2025, Blaney ranks #1 for average finish (6.9) and #1 for Speed. In 2026 over the combined shorter-flat track races, Blaney ranks 3rd for average finish (7.0) and 3rd for speed. At New Hampshire in the Next Gen, Blaney’s 3 for 4 at coming home with asterisk mark results of 18th or worse which has his average finish at 16.5, but he hasn’t lacked when it comes to “Performance” and ranks 5th for Speed and 6th for Driver Rating. Last year, Blaney smoked the field and raced his way to victory lane. In the race, Blaney started 2nd, won Stage #1, finished 4th in Stage #2, had the 2nd best average running position (3.5), earned the best Driver Rating and led 116 laps en route to victory lane. In terms of speed stats, Blaney ranked #1 for Total Speed Rankings and then 2nd for Speed Late In A Run. In 2024, Blaney was one of the best but finished an asterisk mark 25th. In the race, Blaney started 2nd, finished 4th in Stage #1, finished 5th in Stage #2, had the 2nd best average running position (5.9) but then late in the race on lap 291 during a restart while running in 2nd, McDowell got into him and spun out the #12. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Blaney ranked 2nd. In 2023, Blaney was top five good but finished an asterisk mark 22nd. In the race, Blaney finished 5th in Stage #1, finished 4th in Stage #2 but then during the Gragson caution with about 30 laps to go while running in 2nd, Blaney got a pit penalty for running over his air hose, dooming him to his 22nd. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Blaney ranked 3rd. In practice, Blaney was a stopwatch standout and ranked #1 for 15,20,25 and 30-lap averages.

2) Christopher Bell
Start 6th / Projected Finish Range 1-6 / Dominator Potential – Medium-High
New Hampshire Outlook – Christopher Bell is a shorter-flat track ace and at New Hampshire, the road to victory lane might very well go thru him. At “The Magic Mile” in the Next Gen, Bell’s 2 for 4 at reaching victory lane, ranks 2nd for Speed, 3rd for average finish (9.3) and 3rd for Driver Rating. Going further back since 2021 minus 2023 where everything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong, his average finish is 2.5. Last year, JGR was off as an organization, but Bell still finished 6th. In the race, Bell started 19th, finished Stage #1 in 14th, finished Stage #2 in 6th and then of course finished 6th overall. Additionally, Bell had the 7th best Total Speed Ranking, earned the 7th best Driver Rating and had the 10th best average running position (10.9). In 2024, Bell raced his way to victory lane in dominant fashion, had the best average running position (2.8), earned the best Driver Rating and led 149 laps. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Bell ranked 1st. In 2023, Bell was top five good but finished an asterisk mark 29th after having a laundry list of problems. Over the two races prior to that, Bell had results of 1st (2022) and 2nd (2021). At shorter-flat tracks this year, Bell ranks 4th for average finish (7.5) and then 5th for Speed. In practice, Bell had the best 10-lap average, said his car was good overall and think’s they’ll be in the game.

3) Denny Hamlin
Start 4th / Projected Finish Range 1-6 / Dominator Potential – Medium-High
New Hampshire Outlook – Denny Hamlin is a super-elite shorter-flat track performer and at New Hampshire, Hamlin will be tough to beat. In the Next Gen over the combined races, Hamlin ranks 5th for Driver Rating, 6th for Speed and 6th for average finish (12.3). This year at shorter-flat tracks, Hamlin has the best average finish (4.0) and ranks 2nd for Speed. At New Hampshire, Hamlin’s a 3-time winner and his career average finish is 9.9. In the Next Gen minus 2024’s “Wet Conditions Race” where he was the leader before the rain, Hamlin has an 8.3 average finish. Last year, JGR was just a little off as an organization and in the race, Hamlin started 9th, had a 9.9 average running position, earned the 8th best Driver Rating and then finished 12th overall. In terms of speed stats, Hamlin ranked 7th for Speed Late In A Run and 9th for Total Speed Rankings. In 2024, Hamlin was arguably the best but finished a misleading 24th. In the race, Hamlin started 14th, finished 7th in Stage #1, won Stage #2, led 43 laps but then faded back over the final Stage in the wet conditions. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Hamlin ranked 6th but take note his speed over the segments were 7th, 3rd, 1st and then 19th. I’ll also note, I would really stop with takeaways after Stage #2 which he won. In the two races prior to that, Hamlin had results of 6th and 7th. In practice, Hamlin ranked 7th for both 20 and 30-lap averages.
